On the old Outlook Express I used to have my contacts displayed right below the folder list. So far in Windows Mail I have been yet to be able to figure out how to be able to do the same. It's not absolutely necessary to do this, but being a creature of habit, but being a creature of habit, I would like to be able to have things set up in the 'ole school' manner.
Suggestions?

Can't do it in WinMail since in Vista Contacts are listed in a separate application: Windows Contacts.

I never used Outlook Express so I'm not sure what you're talking about. But if it's any consolation, you can click Contacts in Win Mail's toolbar, or press Chift+Ctrl+C, or choose Tools > Contacts to pop open your Contacts folder. You can also do all the stuff like automatically add people to whom you replay to your contacts as before.
